I got a metal splinter from my zipper in my index finger last week. Ouch!

i got a glass splinter in my thumb.... i sat on a regular splinter once, i was 5....

Sort of beneath the thumb, not quite on the palm. I got two, one really teensy tiny. The other one was bigger. I got them from carrying wood boards (I was on the stage-crew of our school musical). My mom took the bigger one out with a sterilized pin (sterilized w/ a match). The other I picked/came out on own. They really did hurt, poking into my skin.
