early in the war the Germans tried to knock out the British in the battle of Britain and when that did not happen and with the Americans joining into the war things began to change in favor of the allies.on the pacific side even yamamotto said it best =====WE HAVE AWAKEN A SLEEPING GIANT===.the battle of midway was a naval disator for the Japanese as they lost 4 of their carriers and with the industrial might of the US they could build all articles of war faster then they were lost.In the end the US developed the A-bomb and the Russians and the allies were beating at the Germans doorstep.

European theater- D-Day invasion and steady advancement on the Western Front, and fighting the Russians on the Eastern front due to the poor timing of Operation Barbarossa. Pacific theater- Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Your question is poorly worded and confusing. You should also take into account that the Axis powers made tactical and policy mistakes which contributed to their own defeat.

For 2 or 10 points?
Remember the premise behind the story and movie A Bridge Too Far (Operation Market-Garden)? The attack had over extended itself in scope and was unable to sustain its attack against the Germans. Well, Operation Barbarosa was Hitler's. He overextended himself. Clark's book lists several, enjoy.
