As solo artists, Phil Collins (before Disney put him on life support)
But with their old bands (Genesis or The Police), The Police win hands down.
Overall, I'd go with Sting throughout his entire career.

I liked Sting when he was with the "Police." By himself? He's ok. Does Phil Collins sing anymore? Phil has more of a commanding voice than Sting ever did. I'd say Phil.
