Why does everyone including the citizens of the US hate the US?

The majority of Americans act like spoiled little brats. They are always complaing about how horrible their governemtn is, yet they don't contribute all they do is complain. The majority of them have never been anywhere else. You can walk into Mexico and compare the 2 countries. Of course some Lib who never has a clue what he is talking about would blame the US for Mexico's and every other country on the planet's inability to be effective. Love it or leave it Tommy. Get out if you hate the coutry and government so much and yes they are one of the same.

I think you will find it is not the people of the US who are hated by the people who spout hatred. It is the governments that are hated.

On TV I saw a squad of heavily armed Americans searching the home of a family, with a TV film crew along,for arms.
The Iraqis served them tea and had them sit whilst the search went on.

Can you imagine that happening in the US ? You wouldn't let the your police do that, let alone an outside force, whether you see him as an invader, occupier or liberator.

The man of the house indicated that now there were more troops in that part of Baghdad, they were far happier.
There was an underlying message in the mans manner that if the insurgents returned, they would be too scared to stand up to them.

Wow, that's quite a generalization. I didn't realize that EVERYONE hates the US.
I'm a lib, and I've been out of the country several times. I do have a clue as to what's going on in this country and I'm smart enough to be outraged by it.
Love it and leave it? I don't think so. I'll stick around and keep practicing freedom of speech. After all, that's the reason that right was given to us.

The US gov. as of late really pushed the envelope as far as foreign policy is concerned! Us trying to be a global police force doesnt help the situation!And our rights have been taken from us "in the name of SECURITY"!We borrow $$$ from China at rate 2 billion dollar$ a day so we can fight the war in Iraq!We are fast becoming into a central American country cause the wetbacks are coming in at a rate 3 million a year our country cant handle the influx of these illegals bringing our quality of life down into the toilet!

I am a three year army vet and voter I do not hate my country but I realise we are in a bad way right now.Telling other Americans to leave if you don't agree with them is pretty much one of the most Unamerican things you can do.This is a country founded on freedom of speech and expression.Instead of acting like in immature little jerk maybe you should try appreciating the fact people can disagree with you.

Have you ever heard of 'rooting for the underdog?' It's the reverse principal. The US is the 'sole superpower' which 'won' the Cold War. It's a dominant economic force in the world, spends vast sums of money on it's military, and is generally top of the heap on a number of heaps.

It's easy to hate.

Why don't you take a visit to New Orleans and get back to all of US on your take.

Or take a visit of the US troops in IRAQ and get backk to US how our citizens are being treated..

Get a clue dude, and stand for something better than the misery-denial that you have cozied up to.


Or how the gap between rich and poor is growing, and poverty is increasing, crime is on the rise.
