No, that's not weird. I'm Mexican and you wouldn't believe how many times Indian or Pakistani women have started talking to me or waved at me because they thought I was one of them. A lot of eyes (from both countries) have dark hair, dark eyes, and tanned skin so I could see how some people would be confused. I've even been told I look Egyptian, Brazilian, and Lord knows what else. LOL.

I am Mexican, and I always get the question "are you from India?" and I answer them in spanish "No soy Mexicana." It's worth seeing the expression on their face ; ].
