what does Christs rising from the dead have to do with a bunny hiding chicken eggs?

I think we do the chicks and bunnies and ducks because they are symbolic of Spring. Not Jesus rising from the dead.

I guess we could crucify ken dolls in place of dying eggs, though, if we really wanted. I'm not sure how Dr. Phil friendly that would be..

you always need a character of some kind to associate with holidays to get kids to enjoy them... its a conspiracy to get them to believe in things they may have otherwise wanted to reject....
