on the toolbar, look in the little house to see if you need to re-assign yahoo as the home page. if not, run an anti-virus scan, then reload yahoo toolbar and select yahoo as homepage.

You fail to mention if you have an antivirus or antispyware in your pc and have run scans with both programs.
You can go to tools, on your IE toolbar, open then open internet options and type in, http://www.yahoo.com Where it will say your home page. If this fails then you have a virus from opening the ecard.
Run your antivirus program. If you don't have one here is a free excellent free antivirus program from AOL, Active Virus Shield. AOl will only ask you for your email so that they can send you a free key good for one year. After one year just request a new key. You will get auto updates every hour on the hour, plus excellent background scanner that really works in real time.

Better run an antivirus scan. Some eCards are malicious and are used to distribute malware (viruses, trojans, etc).
