Well, he was definitely bad in the first move ....
I'm thinking he's going to be a good guy ( at least on the side of the good guys) for At World's End, although I don't know how "good" he can be considering that he's still a pirate.
I can't forget that he, on two occasions, abandoned Jack on an island and left him to starve to death - but if he DOES play a major role in freeing Jack from Davy Jones's locker, which he apparently will, I will be willing to forgive him somewhat .....
I CAN'T WAIT to see what happens in POTC 3!!! I love pirates of the caribbean!!!!!!

Well, we know he started out as a bad guy, but he might be a good guy (if you can call it that, seeing as they're all pirates) in Pirates 3 because he's going to be the captain of the boat that rescues Captain Jack.
