In the mid 70s the environmentalist movement gained quite a lot of clout. there hasn't been a new oil refinery or nuclear power plant built in the US since.

I know there are a lot in crocket and richmond area in california that sure put a lot of pollution into the air. Why, do people want more asthma and breathing problems from gas flaring? Come move to Richmond.

It's been years.
The Democrats and their Environmentalist Bosses (they give them millions of $$$$$ each election) have banned Refineries.
We Deserve it for allowing the Commie Democrats to RULE us.

32 years ago. Thanks to the Dems creating a sea of red-tape, and yet the complain about gas prices.
