Why do Liberals hate the second Amendment?
We don't hate the first Amendment, we just interpret it literally. We don't ignore it like you do the 2nd.
---BTW, that guy is right. Libs DID start up "hate speech" and "hate crimes", so who are you to talk about hating the 1st amendment?

Conservatives just hate the way Liberals /use/ the 1st Amendment.
The reverse is also true. Of course, the libs have been the more successful, lately, in limitting the 1st Amendment (see 'Hate' Speach), FWIW.
And, suggesting that someone who expresses a high degree of discontent with a particular country might be happier in some other country is not exactly abridging thier right of free speach.

We don't hate the first amendment... if that were true why do we dominate free speech radio airwaves with people like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Reagan???
If I remember correctly its the rabid lefties at the ACLU who are the really anti- first amendment...

True conservatives love the first amendment just the way it is. Problem is, most self- proclaimed liberals and conservatives in our country are not interested in people's rights -- they just want to "control"

Conservatives hate the first ammendment because it is one of the most important. It deligates freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion. If we didn't have this amendment we would all be roman catholic, we would never argue with people in public or express opinions that are "unholy," we would not be able to picket or rally or do "sit ins" when corporations take down a park to build a shopping mall...and instead of saying no comment when you were involved in a corporate scandal...the truth would be spoken for you...the media's truth...which is not exactly "truth"....does that make sense now? liberals hate change....they hate conflict...they hate everything that is not "conservative."
