When people work, they make money. If they're smart, they'll open up the following: A checking account, savings account, money market fund, and an IRA linked to a moderate aggressive or an aggressive mutual fund. If you can find a high yielding savings account like ING Direct Orange @ 5.05% you're good to go. Also, Cd's are good to go as well as savings bonds. I won't knock people who play the lottery. If you can afford to do so, then do it. If not, try getting a job and start saving and investing your money instead of wasting your resources on that big pie in the sky.

well since i no longer have a job i will say the lottery.i could have made that kind of money eventually if i hadnt been sc rewed out of my job by a bunch of pathetic liars! it would be great ! good luck.
