I'm on birth control, but for a couple days in March/April I'd forget to take the pill yet have sex with my boyfriend. I had my last period about three weeks ago, but for the past few weeks I've been feeling very ill. Whenever I stand up, I have to take a moment because it feels as if all the blood rushed from my head. I'm often light-headed, nauseous, and I'm always FEELING hungry but when I try to eat, I feel sick. I'm constantly tired and it's easy for me to get agitated with people. Are these early signs of a pregnancy? I'd be 100% sure of it, except that I just had my period after having two months of unprotected sex. Also I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Would a test detect a pregnancy this early? Or should I wait a little while longer?
Also... if I think I'm pregnant, should I stop taking the pills? Would they affect the baby in any way?

It's hard telling. It could be that these are not the right pill for you, or it's just too early for the test. I would have a blood test done, cause that can be done pretty early. Yes, I had a period while pregnant with my first. (Not a lot of women know this, but being on the pill and forgetting some can make you more fertile than you already were).

I got pregnant when I was on birth control. I didn't find out till I was 3 monthes along because I also had my period. The reason I went for the doctor was because my period was abnormal. I was spotting that's when I found out. I was only sixteen years old. I also had the same symptoms as your having now with my second child. I took 2 pregnancies test both negative. I waited 2 weeks before I took another one and it was positive. I wouldn't stop taking the pills until you find out for sure if your pregnant. I hope everything turns out the way you want it to be.

You can have bleeding, but not an actual period. A period is defined as the disposal of the unused egg and uterun lining. If you lost the lining of the uterus when you were pregnant, you would lose the pregnancy.
You could be pregnant but I doubt it because if you were far along enough to have symptoms, that would mean the HCG hormone would be elevated and the test would pick it up. Maybe take a test agin in a few days just to be sure. The pill has not been linked to any known birth defects, but should be stopped if you are pregnant.

It sounds like you might be I would go to the doctor and have them take blood to detect the pregancy and if you are pregant stop taking the pills because it can cause birth defects and sometimes even kill the baby. I would defentaly use protection when you have sex with your boyfriend from now on.

no, it is impossible to be pregnant and have your period. if you've had your period you're 100% not preggo. during your menstrual cycle (the time you're not on your period) your body secretes hormones to thicken the lining of the uterus for the baby (assuming the egg gets fertilized). when you have your period, the lining of the uterus along with blood is flushed from the body. so, if the uterus is flushed, the baby is as well. so, no you are not pregnant.

if you think you're preggo, DEFINATELY stop taking the pill. they imbalance the hormones in your body.
my bff said she had her period every month with her son, so it could be.
as far as your signs, it could be preggo signs or PMS. sometimes our brain helps us to feel what we think we are feeling.
