i am infactuated with a married man. Yes i knows its bad and yes we nearly slept together and i know it shouldn't have happened because its selfish to his family etc. But i beleive we dont have power who we end up being infactuated to, it just happends. my question is how can i get over it?

Just meet his wife. You'll be hard pressed to be 'infactuated' with a guy who is cheating on someone you know.

If you were meant to be with him, he would be single already.
But since he isn't, take your "infactuation" elsewhere.

It's up to us to set boundaries within ourselves. To have set morals. And if you're lacking those, then you're ultimately allowing bad karma to enter into your life.

So ask yourself........if you were his wife and found out about an affair that could take place, how would you react?
Chances are, he's done this in the past with others, so don't assume you're the first.

You take a deep breath and stay away from him. I have never been in your shoes but, I am sure it is easier said then done. You must NOT be with this man until and IF he divorces his wife. Stand your ground. If he wants to be with you HE will do the right thing. He is the one who is married not you. I have to caution you though, if you put your foot down that doesn't mean he will leave his wife. Most likely he will move on to the next. Sorry but it is the truth.

Just like everything else in life, it will end with time. Infatuation isnt as strong as love so it should pass with relatively short time. true we may not have the power to stop a hopeless infatuation but maturity does give us the power in how we deal with it

Avoid him at all costs. Don't call him, don't see him (if you work with him never see him outside the office and try not to be alone in a room with him).

Cut the relationship out of your life now, it's the only way to be safe.

You can't, honey, I'm in the same situation right now.

I guess it is true that they just seem tastier when there already taken. My aunt Ida said that when she found out who I was sleeping with.
