Yeah, it's not the cartoon....
but ever since I heard about the idea I have been excited. And now, with the newest trailer...
It looks pretty good, anyone else excited about this?

When I first heard they were going to be making a live action Transformers movie, I was excited! Produced by Spielberg, no less! Directed by Michael Bay! Wait! What? This did not bode well. And don't try to tell me that Bad Boys was good.
Anyway... then I saw what the robots looked like. Are you kidding me? They look nothing like the ones from the cartoon I grew up watching. I mean, seriously. It was the robots we all loved.
OK. So I may have to eat a little crow. I did see this last trailer that just came out. I was actually surprised at it. I'm still not expecting anything great, but hey, it looks better than the crap I was expecting.

Yeah I was a bit cynical about it at first but I seen the trailer and I think it looks really good - even a bit creepy.

looks cool to me - i'm not expecting much of a plot, but the effects and action should be cool
