I h ave a leaky windshield wiper reserve tank. I tried epoxy glue on the outside but only slowed down the leak. Is there anything that I can pour into it so it can seal the cracks on the inside and still be able to use the windshield wiper reserve. I tried to take the whole tank off, but the sensors won't allow me to.. Is there anything I can do other than take it to a mechanic to get it fixed. I really can't afford it right now and thats why I've been driving without windshield water for over 6 months now, but sometimes I really need it...HELP PLEASE...

find one in the junkyard and put it on or you could try using a soldering gun to try and melt the plastic where the cracks are, sometimes it works.

Just keep a small squirt bottle or dish soap bottle in the car with washer fluid in it for now until you can have the tank fixed. Mister S had a good idea with the soldering iron. Years ago we used to put freezer bags in them but that was when the fluid was siphoned out by a hose and external pump.

Go to the pick a part near you and find a model that's the same as the 1 you need, buy, replace, and you should be good to go,other then this you can try the hardware store, look for sealant, try painting this over the whole unit, make sure it's the boat type of sealant, good luck.

I don't think there is anything that's going to pour in there and fix it. Sealing it from the outside or replacement is your best bet, even if it's a total pain in the ***.
