i hope you charged him,i would go and speak to your manager, explain what has happened, im sure your company will support you, also if you are still scared, go see a lawyer, if you live in the UK, go and get a non harassment order to protect yourself, keep safe, hope it all works out OK, all the best

I've not had an experience like that but i can see why your nervous. Do your bosses know if not perhaps you should tell them so if he starts at work they are already aware of the situation.

I would suggest you talk to your supervisor ASAP. it is obvious the two of you could not possibly work in close proximity to each other. Something has to go.
