Bowfin (Snakefish or Muddfish)
They are about 3inches long. What should I feed them?

Yes these are predators. They'll eat earthworms, crayfish, shrimp, aquatic insects, or feeder fish (including tankmates).

I like to sit and watch my Goby, he's a very interesting character. He'll sit in his burrow until he knows its feeding time. He has a very strict diet of blood worms and small shrimp. Occasionally I catch him eating TertraColor and TetraMin, as well as poop. My Dragon Goby, Spartacus as I like to call him, is a muddfish. They will natrually eat anything he can get his mouth around. Even my poor little Neon Tetra. (bad mistake) Also, He's about 6 in. from tip to end of tail.

They are carnivorous fish, they should be fed live food such as snails, little fish.
