No your Wii cannot get a virus from the internet.

Depending on how you use it, you should not have to worry about viruses when getting online with your Nintendo Wii. Aside from whatever you access through the Wii's web browser, all of the other information - news, weather, game updates, virtual console, etc. - is provided by Nintendo and 3rd party companies (an additional level to the Wii's Prince of Persia game for example). Provided you don't hack into your Wii and use the internet functionality in the manner it was intended, you should be fine.

viruses are meant to be on a pc because a wii has different software and the person who put a virus on a certain website will have to find out how to put a virus on a wii, which will be really hard.

Probably not this time, but will eventually get virus soon. Hackers will do everything to make viruses on any system... hope this helps.
