I am 6'6" and want to look into getting a starter bike. Are there any bikes that can accomodate my height? I am looking for something cheap because still being in high school i dont have a whole lot of money. If anyone has any suggestions at all or can help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

first off a crotch rocket is a DILDO so don't use that here or you will get blasted

At your height, I'd say check out the Kawasaki KLR650. It isn't a sport bike; it's more like a huge street legal dirt bike. But it's got a lot of room for a tall rider, and is pretty beginner friendly too.

You could get a Suzuki GS500F and put a taller set of handlebars on it, but your legs will probably feel rather folded up.

Ok, size like your sucks. it is hard to find a bike built for you. When is comes to starter sportbikes. the best thing you can do is go to your local dealership and look at his used bikes. for a first time sportbike rider try staying in the 600 cc range. (it still has a lot of power). sit on it and see how it feels. you may want to look at sport-touring bikes. not all the power but still has the look of a sportbike. like the SV650S suzuki. good luck

You'll never feel right on a sport bike.
A "standard" bike like a Honda Nighthawk would be comfortable.

Because of my height, I started with a dual purpose bike (on-off road).
They have very tall seat heights and are very light, compaired to a regular street bike (great for a starter bike).

Don't forget to check the length restrictions on crotch rockets.

have a look at a second hand RD/RZ 250 Yamaha...

cheap, reasonable size, good power & handling( for there age)...will still be worth what you paid for it in a year when you want to trade up....
