I applied to become a US citizen July 27, 2005, and passed my citizenship test November 16, 2005. I was told that FBI did not complete my criminal background check, so my file is pending. I have never been in any problems with the law in the USA or in Russia. I am an armed guard (Security Captain) for last 4 years in the State of Alaska that only has about 700-800 immigrants per year! I religiously pay my taxes, own a house, work for a very big Native Corporation. I was told by everybody who knows me that I deserve to be an American even more than some naturaly born citizens.

Because of this situation and the fact that I was told in INS office that I have to wait to become a citizen before I can apply for my child to come and live with me, my daughter and I could not see each other for more than 5 years!

Who can help me to straighten this problem out and how can I contact FBI to see what is going on with my file?

Filing a complaint would be really smart if you want to be deported. Either get an attorney or sit back, relax, and don't poot until the time is right.

You're going to tell the FBI to hurry up!
You know what they'll tell you!

You should find their number in the phone book, under Feeral Govt.
