When you go shopping for clothes, do you try them on before you buy?

Or do you wait until you get home and then have to return half of your purchases?

If I'm shopping alone, I'll try them on.

If the kids are with me, then it's buy/take home/return time.

I hate trying on clothes at the store. I'd rather try them on at home. It's no biggie to return them if I already go to that store all the time.
However, I will try them on in the store if the place is far out of the way and I know I will hate having to drive all the way back. Ugh!

I try on the pants and shoes but shirts if they look about the right size I dont...
Unless its a style I havent tried before then I will try on the shirts.

I hate trying on clothes. I think it's such a waste of time. I do a lot of on-line shopping and I get pretty lucky 'cause I hardly ever have to return my clothes.

In big stores, I love trying on clothes, even the ones I really don't intend to buy, just to see how they look on me. If it is a small store and the girl is following me around, it's different. Anyway, I usually try it on and buy it and then never wear it...

I do both. If I just started shopping for the day then I try them on but if its at the end of the day I just buy them.

I don't like to try on clothes but i do try them at home and most of them do end up fitting

i usually will try it on. But if i have my kids/fiance with em and the store has a good return/exchange policy, i sometimes dont. but that always backfires because my fiance thinks i am going to return it because i feel guilty for spending on myslef and he sometimes removes the tags so i cant return it...that really sucks!

Most of the time I try them on in the store that way I don't have to deal with taking the back.
