While driving down the road at any speed my trailblazer will die on me. when I pull over take the keys out of the ignition and then turn it back on it starts right up but the service brake system or check air bags scrolls on my screen. it doesn't happen everyday but when it happens it will do it 4-6 times during the day. We already replaced the battery. When it dies the radio, lights etc.. still work.

Please take your trailblazer to your local chevy dealership. They will check the system with a teck-2 and tell you whats wrong. If your trailblazer is under 3 and 36k it will be fixed for free.If the problem is emmisions its still covered.

There are very few reasons why a vehicle will die on you while driving. First of all, did you replace the battery because you thought it was the problem? If no, did this start after you replaced the battery? If it started after you replaced the battery, check the terminals. Most GM truck products have side mounted posts. If the cables are coming loose or if the battery is not securely fastened, this can cause loss of contact and can possibly cause the low voltage and dying issue, but that would be rare. The most common causes of dies while driving is fuel pump, fuel pump regulator, and very rarely, a fuse block. Because this can be a dangerous problem, and because it is intermittent, it is best to take it to a GM dealer and have them diagnose it. It may cost about 2 hours to start with, but in the long run, it will be cheaper than a garage that will randomly start throwing parts at it.
