Good question! It would belch as much as it needed to. But, I have a better question! Can it belch the ABC's? Aha. Bet you don't have an answer to that one. But that's okay, that's my job. I answer, you ask.
Anyway, it would probably belch a lot of smog since it has nothing better to do. After all, it probably just sits there on top of factories wondering about life and the universe... and then it realizes that it is not technically alive. Which gets it all worked up so it belches some smog for stress relief.
