Wars have always been turning points in our history, such as The American Revolution, The War of 1812, The Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, The Gulf War. The Depression was also a turning point in U.S. History too. A good definition for turning points regarding history would be any event(s) that causes major social and economic impacts or changes on the people, places, and institutions of the time.
