The question is confusing. Father Xmas I take to mean Santa Claus coming from St. Nicholas....is practiced at Xmas Time in December. Is an old tradition...not really anything to do with what Christmas really is (the birth of the Christ-child, Jesus), but is very fun for children...stockings, presents, etc. and practiced in many different countries.

What that has to do with this time of year...it doesn't.

He's enjoying his time off, because in a few months, the Sears Christmas Catalogue will be coming out and kids will be starting to make their lists once again. When that happens, he has to start checking off who's naughty and nice.
