there are more animal lovers than animal tester poeple...why dont we all just go beat em up? and if we hate animal testing why do people offer to take the jobs. and nobody say we need to...WE DONT. want make-up. go frikin get it yourself. want a cancer cure...tell poeple not to cut the amazon down! who is with me!?

I feel the same way! I did a paper in speech about this.
If you search animal testing on google or yahoo through images, it just looks terrible! One time I watched this undercover video on animal testing on the net, they completely torchered those monkeys. Those were the most miserable animals I've ever seen! There are some places on the net where you can sign an online petition. Try searching that, and sign a bunch of them to make a difference.

This is a VERY VERY complicated issue. Of COURSE there should be no animal cruelty, anywhere! But not everyone agrees.
If your child was dying and the doc said "There might be a way to operate but I've never done it because I wasn't allowed to practice on animals" how would you feel? Of course, nowadays there are many other ways to learn surgery, but that's just an example. If you had an illness and there was no cure because they couldn't test it on animals...??
SOME animal experimentation is necessary -- BUT IT SHOULD BE DONE HUMANELY. And NEVER EVER for make up or stupid stuff like that.
About the rain forest -- well...we don't own it. Do we have the right to tell the countries that they can't cut down the trees because WE don't want them to? They say their people are starving and they need the area for farms.
Now I happen to believe that the rainforests are important to the whole WORLD and yes, we do have the right to preserve it -- but then again -- how would WE (the USA) feel if they told us we had to limit our driving to no more than 10 miles a day because we were polluting the atmosphere? Whether or not they were right, we'd resent the interference.
Nothing is cut and dried. Nothing is black and white.
If you want to stop animal cruelty, start here at home. Stand up and TELL police, politicians and judges that you want puppy and kitten mills STOPPED. That you want harsher punishments for animal abusers. Boycott products that test on animals -- and TELL them you are boycotting them. Write letters, circulate petitions -- and MOST importantly run for office!
You sound young -- go ahead -- MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE!! I believe you can do it!

I am soooooooooo with you! The jerks out there need to **** off! These poor innocent animals, they need to imgaine themselves in the animals situation! My brother is cruel to my cats, when he is, I give him a hard punch! So I'll go ahead and fight with you!!!!! Animal cruelty is a "no no"
