The last time I fell down the stairs I burst into tears. It happened at work and I was really embarrassed.

Well I get vertigo so I've fallen over a few times in the past. I don't laugh or cry I feel a bit shaken and I pick myself up fast regardless of whether Ive hurt myself or not and carry on walking - Im too embarrassed that someone might have seen me and I feel silly!

No, why not be true to yourself? I do not advocate screaming; however, if you hurt and tears come to your eyes do not force them back. Bursting out in tears might be a bit much depending on the circumstance.

Yes, especially when the kids are standing there with their mouths open just waiting to see a tear. I can't give them that satisfaction when I fall. It's more fun hearing them sigh with relief and then laugh with me.

I laugh if it is done in public and I am not seriously hurt. If done at home, I get annoyed with myself but crying isn't even a consideration (there again, unless I am seriously hujrt and then I don't cry very long-what's the point-that doesn't stop the pain). Just suck it up and go on.

Nah. I laugh when I fall because it's pretty funny, most of the time. I mean if I feel and broke my leg or neck or something, I wouldn't be so inclined to laugh. But I did one of those comedic flat on my face splats at my parents house, and cracked up laughing at myself.

Oh yea. One time, my horse was on a lunge line, and he took off cause some neighbor's dogs scared him. My hand got caught at the end, he ran towards the wood fence and turned at the last minute and I slammed into the fence, bounced off, and stood up looking around to make sure no one saw me and although it hurt, I started laughing at how stupid I must of looked.
