I mean the ones like Tom J and $mitty ask? I realize that off color humor is funny but where is the line between funny and unacceptable?

Arielle, I wasn't talking about the color of people in this question. I was talking about peoples questions that are questionable in their content.

There is a line, and that line is drawn at the intentions. When it is obvious that the off-colored question is meant to hurt someone's feelings or is racist or sexist, then it is offensive. If it is obviously JUST meant to be funny, then I don't think it is that big of a deal. When in doubt, don't do it. Otherwise you're likely just being a jerk.

they do have freedom of speech, and (sometimes) it is funny. but NO1 should be mean, or criticizing on here. There are colored ppl on Y/A, and the ppl that write color questions should reconsider what they say, and ask a nicer question, or a color question in a nicer way.

Off color questions don't offend me as long as they are funny. Those 2 are not funny, just offensive. And that is their intent, to offend.

The type of people who ask those questions are so insecure. For them, bad attention is better than no attention. It's sad, actually. If they would only get help, then they could be wise like the rest of us on here! =0)

Yes there is and I don't know how they keep from getting suspended for it. If I talked like that they'd suspend me FOREVER!
