A friend invited my friends and I to a sleepover. She is bi, but she's one of my closest friends. We are all between the ages of 12-14, me being the youngest, but we ALWAYS hang out at school. If you were my parent would you let me go? Why or why not?

People...People....people !!
Some young people just know
if they are 'bi', 'straight', or even
just plain o'gay !!
My nephew knew he was gay at
12 in 'Boy Scout' camp !!
Either you are...or you're not...period !!
Yes, I would let my Daughter ( or you )
go to the 'sleep-over' because I'm not
going to judge someone on whether
they're 'gay' or not.
I think it would be up to my Daughter
( or you ) whether she/you feel comfortable
enough to stay over night !!!

I would let you go, the reason being because your sexual preference is your choice. If your parents aren't letting you go, it's because they are afraid she may influence you do do things your parents don't want to imagine. I feel like if your going to be gay/bi then you are going to do it weather I like it or not, so why not have trust for the decisions you make? I would want you to have fun and be happy no matter what. And I would trust you to make good decisions based on the way I raised you.

No. I wouldn't let a person that age be exposed to that situation, discussions about it even. At her age 'bi' is most likely an attention getting thing for her, maybe she hasn't even done anything, just talk alot for the drama. I did't let my kid sleep over anywhere 'cause you just dont know who else they may be exposed to ,perverted relatives/friends of family etc. And ya don't know if the family are gun owners, and ya hear alot about kids just lookin at guns out of curiosity, and then one of em ends up dead!My kid didn't really want to sleep over anyways cause he felt his annoying little friends could be a pain in the *** with stupid pranks like the ice water thing and stuff. so he came up with the idea of how bout he goes over there, and just about the time everyone's going to sleep, he'd call me to say come pick me up. he got to be at the party, but wake up in his own comfy bed. lol

no. at 12 to 14 you should not know if you are bi. and I would not let you go there and be subject to that influence. experimenting like that is for adults

I'll let you go as long as you promise you know what you are doing.I can't believe that she's a bi she's too young to have that kind of experience with neither boy or girl.

I would let you go. People can't make you bi or gay. It's not like a disease. If you are comfortable w/ your own sexuality then there should be no problems.

I would not let a 12 year old stay over night with anyone I knew was sexually active regardless of persuasion.
