I had an emergency molar extraction because it was infected. I was reading online about it having unsufficiant data to say yes or no..does anyone know if when you are 8 mths pregnant if it is ok to use for a dry socket?

anything natural should be okay; you probably know already to avoid excessive chemicals.

Clove oil will not help the dry socket, although it may temporarily relieve some pain. Call the dental surgeon! If you have a dry socket let him know it! You could have a deeper infection that needs to be taken care of.

It's perfectly fine........but better than that, I would recommend warm salt water. I know.......sounds nasty, but it will hydrate the socket faster than the clove oil will, and you'll feel much better faster.

I wouldn't take it and instead just do salt water.

My GUESS would be at that late stage of preganancy it wouldn't matter.
