Most zoologists work for academic institutions and so will have an advanced degree, often a Masters, but usually a PhD. There isn't any particular organization or group that licenses zoologists.

Just a degree in it! That would be a start. Four year degree in Wildlife biology. That is a minimum to get a decent job then you need to go to your masters and eventaully PHD
