With a lot of "vets" (Ashley, John, Cassie, Dru, Christine) no longer on Y&R and odd relationship pairings (Jack & Sharon?? - I'm not sold), it made me wonder - what do you miss most on the show?
Examples: couples, plots, actors, characters, story lines, etc.

I really miss the psychos on the show. Any soap opera requires someone who is crazy, and a completely over-the-top villain. For example, Michael Baldwin has done a 360 and has now become the nice guy. And Kevin too. Perhaps, the writers need to bring Sheila back to life to stir up some trouble for the residents of Genoa city.
As for couples, I like JT with Victoria, Sharon & Brad, and Jack & phylis. Nicki and Victor need to get a divorce! They're SO boring. And they should bring back Larry Warton for Jill. an ex convict would definitely bring back drama to the show!
I like the young storylines, but think that this whole Daniel-porn thing is getting ridiculous. Poor lily.
Maybe they should show some more crossovers from bold and the beautiful? I enjoyed Amber's crossover.
I miss Neena & Ryan. And Billy & Mac. They should bring some of these past characters back, because I think they have lots of potential.
I also would like to see some of the more "regular" characters have better storylines too... like paul for example.

When I started watching Y&R after about a 7 year break (I was working), I was surprised to see that John died. I wasn't sure if he died in real life or not until I saw him on the show as a ghost. I did think it was cute in a way when Sharon came home and Jack was sitting in the chair drunk, thinking she was dead, and said, "please, no more ghosts". John approves of Sharon with Jack, so maybe everyone shouldn't be so quick to judge on their marriage. I'd like to see Nina back. What is her opinion about Phillip not being Phillip? I mean, her son was a Chancellor, but no longer is. I'd like something more exciting to happen with Paul. He doesn't get much air time anymore. I can do without Chris/Cricket because I didn't care much for the character. Danny was too much of a girly boy. He just seemed to feminine and I never liked his whispery singing. Maybe Gloria and Phyllis can share a jail cell! Stephanie Forrester (Bold and the Beautiful) can be in the next cell along with Sheila who is once again in disguise and back from the dead!

I miss Dru too. She really did bring some fire to the show. I don't miss Ashley cause she was becoming a real b***ch! I hope they hook up Kevin with a decent girl this time.
I agree that they need a psycho on the show. It really makes things fun! Sheila was too psychotic and she would never die! I like J.T. and Victoria together. They're so opposite. I wonder, because Dru and Nick's bodies were never found, if they'll come back.
They need some teens on the show too, with all the problems teens have. I also like Jill and Gi Min, the younger guy. It makes her character come alive a bit.

I miss some of the Actors .
I remember Snapper and Greg , (Jill"s brothers )
Plus her mother , although I love Mrs.Chancelor . I miss Malcolm and Ashley and especially "Cassie " .
I'd like to see a story line on Victor Jr. I always did think there're was a reason why he was named Victor Jr.
Regardless of how it all works out I love the soap
It gets better and better,every day , and I love the fact that if we miss it at noon , we can get it at 11:00 pm and $:am ,although i do miss the 7 pm time .

That show has changed,but i do like to watch it. I miss Malcom,Dru Ryan ,The other Victoria. I just can't get use to this Victoria. Her eyes always seem sad. Dru kept things exciting. I wonder where little Nathan is?

I miss Dru, on the show and I also miss Nick and Sharon as a couple. I hate that he is paired with Phyllis (only for now) and when that changes I will be so happy. I dislike the fact that Jack and Sharon are married (hopefully not for long). He should be with Phyllis. I also miss my Brother one the show, I am talking about Malcolm. :-)

I'm with you World Perks. i miss Nina. And Chase. They so need to bring that back w/ Cane being Jill's son. I do miss Malcom, Christine and Danny Romalati.
As far as copules go, Jack and Sharon are a little "ewwy". I mean he's her exhusbands step father...
Brad and Sharon desrve one another, and I agree with the statement that Larry should come back for Jill.

Didn't Victor and Hope have a child named Victor JR.? I just seen today something about Victor JR. while Paul and Victor were talking. Missed most of it so I don't know what that will bring. Might be a new and interesting plot. Hope was a character I liked.
I beleive Nicki will have an affair with the dark haired guy David Chow her campaign manager, too.

I miss Dru, Cassie, John......Ummm that is the main ones I think.
Dru just brought the spunk out on the show. Loved and miss her spunkiness!
Cassie, brought the innocence youth that is somewhat lacking right now. With porn of all things where is that high school crowd that at least you should one or two kids that age.
John, was the sanity of the show. he was the voice of reason that has totally disappeared!
I used to love Y&R, but it has changed so dramatically getting rid of those core foundations, I have noticed that I dont even care if I miss a show anymore.

John Abbott will be missed and nothing is the same without him on the show. I admired Kay Chancellor for her long time role as Kay, she has her spunk and dote on her longtime friend Nikki.
As honest as I can say, I was irked to see Jack with Sharon, Brad with Victoria hmm? ACK! Phylis with Nick....What a TWIST....We shall see what happens later to what the writer of the show will do to add suspense to the storyline.
Oh yea, the 'Sheila' you love to hate lol, Sheila a good but hated villain and I won't want to mess with her lol, scary Missy-she conned so many and had plastic surgery...This time, she was actually shot and pronounced dead, can she return from the dead--perhaps her spirit ---YIKES! LOL
