I have no idea who or what "emo" is. From the prior posts, I assume it is a musical group. I listen to all sorts of music including classical music, classic rock, rap, hip-hop, grunge, alternative, etc. I just flip through stations until I find something I like. I do not pay attention to the names of the artists, though.

what music do we listen to as liberals. Myself, Floyd, Zepplin, I don't know, most the 70's 80's and early 90's. Todays stuff all sounds the same and its horrible. Back then they knew how to play their insturments and you had very few one hit MTV wonders. Talented proceeded marketability back then. The way the music sounded sold the record, not who was on the cover or how good looking the people were, god knows that if you think of some of the people from back then, ugly.
Do conservatives have to swallow their earphones to hear the music? or do they just go in the other way?

I grew up listening to oldies (my parents always had them on).. and to this day can't get them out of my head :) I was big into wheezer, red hot chili peppers and collective soul for a while.. right now I'm more of a Jack Johnson and Ben Harper fan.
