There are numerous parties in the United States, they just don't get alot of attention because most people are most farmiliar with the two major parties, Republican and Democrat. It's hard for these "third parties" to get much media attention and funding because there is power in numbers and even though people may not believe in everything the Reps or Dems do, they need to be a part of them just to get attention.

There should be at least ten or more official legitiamte parties in the US government to assure the demise of partisan politics as it is played out in Washington today. The two party system in place today is non-functional and inept and needs to be restructured into a multi-party structure which stresses issue resolution, not party-line blind faith and partisanship. This system is outdated and needs serious modification.

Fourth party? I think you need to indicate what country you mean. If you are an American, you are welcome to start a fourth party... after you cook up a third. Right now we only have two parties, at least, two viable ones.

PARTY!!!! whoooo hooo... oh wait you want THAT kind of party... Hmmm. What is the Third, and don't say Green.... they have never had a decent candidate. Once we have a third... we can move on to fourth.
