I am not sure where you get the idea that all nations lean on the USA only because that is not true.
All developed nations assist underdeveloped nations when in crisis (i.e. tsunami aid in Indonesia) this is all with the United Nations. This was developed after WWII.
Now, saying that countries should stand on their own sounds a bit arrogant on your side. You should know that when hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, underdeveloped nations or developing nations wanted to help the U.S. one example, Greece donating cruise ships to use as hospitals, but US declined this help?! can we say too much pride???
Besides, France, Germany and the UK are one of the other nations that help. So the US is not the only, it isn't a perfect nation. All nations need help sometimes, even the big ones.

The US holds roughly 26% of the worlds resources and only 5% of the worlds population. In your opinion we SHOULDN'T share. Is that correct?

- the Chinese and Russian to sell from on day to the next all their war bonds financing your illegal campaign
- the middle east to cut the oil tap
- the chinese to put an embargo on manufactured products so you run out of everything.
I would also withdraw all asian, indian and european scientists who migrated to MIT and others.
