As a former college player, tennis professional, and personal trainer, my advice would be to strengthen your core and rotator cuff. Every movement in tennis will benefit from having a strong core. You will be able to move more efficiently, produce more power, avoid injuries, and look good when you change a sweaty shirt in the summer. Make sure you hit all the muscles though including obliques and lower back. The small shoulder muscles of your rotator cuff are probabbly the most injured in tennis because of the poor biomechanical motion of overhead swinging. Proventitive strengthening of these muscles will keep you playing more, rather than icing in the locker room.

I train at a tennis academy in Florida and we mostly do abs, arms and legs when we are in the gym.

instead of concentrating on muscle tennis players should focus on his reflex and endurance. most of tennis players are not body builders. isometric exercises are the most useful to improv your speed

abs are most important. legs (quads, hammies, and calves), wrists and forearms...and be sure to shore up the shoulder region.

Tennis isnt a power sport (except for the legs), so be sure to do lower weights/higher reps. lots of stretching, and quick sprinting drills as well.
