I don't think those works are inappropriate or offending.
Some are a bit provocative, but one of the reasons for art is to provoke people to think in a different way as they are used to, so I don't say I like those works but I respect them.
At least, they EXIST!

the person who ever made it, expressed anger, disappointment.... i think they are beautiful. though, i wouldn't like to have them around me, too destructive...
was probably a great relieve from personal burden, for the artist to create them.
according to the text, it is work of a feminist, trying to make people ( or woman) more aware of their life, their place in the society... which norms are set by men, and very rare by woman. Which religions are absolutely patriarchal without any space for feminine greatness.

It might sound ruff, but I'll say it:

Woman is the nig*er of the world.

Don't worry about these images. They don't concern you. They are not inappropriate, it's just that they are not appropriate. It doesn't matter that a person has worked for Conde Nast, publishers of Vogue, The New Yorker, and others. These images are cruel, sadistic, and unnecessary.
