We're going to the coast this weekend, and my boyfriend wants to go to the racetrack and watch the greyhounds race. Neither of us have ever been before, so we don't know what to expect......

I know they are bred and trained to race, but I thought it was cruel to watch them run 100 miles an hour after a stupid rabbit ....and they are soooo skinny...I like my animals fat.

It's something you should do at least once. It's fun. Go to where they keep the dogs before they go out. Watch them, and get a feel for which dog looks ready to go.

Yes and it is a lot of fun. Watch your money; don't bet too much. If you play "win, place, show", on a couple of dogs it is a cheap bet that could pay back pretty good.
