Most bioluminescent fish are found at great depth and are in general very small (fish living at great depth are size restricted due to pressure.
One of the most well known species are lantern fish, which are found in shallow water to mate at night, however almost every deep sea fish can produce bioluminescence as can most other life at that depth (though only marine, not freshwater) some fish down in those depths are:
Hatchet fish
Deep Sea Anglers
Humpback Anger fish
California Headlight Fish
Gulper Eel
Cookie Cutter Shark.
Bioluminescence can be produce in one of two ways, either by the animal itself or by bacteria living within the fishes photophores.

apart from deep sea fishes as listed by others, some surface fishes also have phosphoresence. Neon tetras are tropical freshwater fishes found in south american streams, where the light is low due to turbidity and mats of vegetation. But I do not know what advantage that would confer.

Neon Tetras are probably the ones you are thinking of. They`re the little ones in aquaria that glow. Plenty in the deep seas, but you`d hardly be seeing them up close, except in documentaries.

Many deep sea fish have the ability to create their own light in the black void which they inhabit. This is called bioluminescence. Some of these species are indicated in this link.

Bio-lumenescent fish - they have organisms inside that make them glow, to attract prey or ward off predators.
