kidney and bacterial infection?

I get kidney and bacterial infections all the time. This one is together and my doctor gave me atiobotics Thursday and today is Monday. I still feel nausaus and my lower back hurts. When should I feel better? How long does it take for the meds to kick in? Or should they have already?

You should be feeling better. Did the dr. do a urine culture and sensitivity? With the continuation of pain in your lower back, you might be developing pyelonephritis. Please see a dr. right away, as you could get worse and cause permanent damage to your kidneys.
