Not confusing them 100 % , but you do want to leave a bit of mystery and unpredicability.

Lost and confused?? Well, where do you want to go? don't know? Then come along with me and maybe at some point you'll see something you like and can go there on your own. Sometimes, it's just nice to travel with someone who can be a trusted friend, even if BOTH of you are lost and confused. Brightest Blessings, Raji the Green Witch

Yeah, it's fun. I don't like being predictable. Where's the enjoyment in being exactly what you appear to be all the time? The looks on people's faces is such a great payoff!

Don't do that. You create some kind of character or extreme version of your personality to confuse people or keep them at a distance. Then before too long that line between you and the personality you created blurs

I don't try but i still am told I'm "mysterious" well, when they directly attempt to figure me out... they get better results, the more private, the more they will learn. the more specific a question gets the more specific my answer...

Oh, no, I think that's a horrible way to behave; such confusion can really hurt some people's over-worked brains. I always try to speak and behave in such a way as to ensure that there can be no confusion as to my intentions and state of mind.
...or not.
So...is it working? :P

No, confusing people when they try to figure you out does not help you develop good relationships. That said, I seem to manage to confuse people anyway, despite my efforts not to. Do I enjoy it? No, but that's life.

May be when I was younger... If I guy i wasn't interested in at all came on too strong, I tried to send mixed signals about what I was really like to put him off.
It wasn't very effective.

Yes I do... cause i don't like ppl to 'figure me out' People can use the things they learn to manipulate you or hurt you... I have a barrier for this reason.... but I do like to figure ppl out and if they make it easy... I get bored.
