E = IR is Ohm's Law.

E is the voltage, I is the current, R is the resistance

If 120 is the voltage and 15 is the resistance, the current is:

120V/15ohm or 8 amperes.

Now, Power is Voltage times Current (it is also current squared times resistance).

So, either way, you get the same answer. P=EI is 120V x 8 Amps or 960 watts.
Or P=I2R is 8 x 8 x 15 or 64 x 15 or 960 Watts

Once you see that it is all a relationship it gets easy.

Amps = Volts/Resistance = 120/15 = 8 amps Watts = Volts x Amps = 120 x 8 = 960 Watts.
