hello, Best thing to do is put a pot of water on to boil,& add vinegar, When the pot starts to boil turn down the heat, Leave the pot to simmer as long as needed, just remember to top up the pot with water every now and then . This will rid the smell. For your burnt wok, por a little warm water into the wok, just enough to cover the burn mark´s. Now add a tablespoon of baking powder ,leave for 10 min´s ,and this should remove the stain . Wash with normal washing up liquid

to get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke i dampen a tea-towel and then spin it around as i walk round the room. for some reason this works, not sure if it absorbs the smoke or disperses it.
other than that just open windows (as you've done) try cooking something that you like the smell of and see if that masks it.
good luck and sorry about your wok, hope nothing else was damaged.

Wash all your kitchen surfaces with vinegar. It's a gentle cleaner that leaves a clean smell.
Smoke residue could land anywhere. Vacuum the carpets in the nearby rooms.
The smell could also be on you. Take a shower and change your clothes. Then see if the smells in your home have improved.

Sugar soap the walls of you kitchen and the rest of your house. Dry clean your curtains and wash your carpets. Get the Furniture polish out too. You are going to be busy, sorry to bring such news to you, but it's the only way if you want to get rid of the smell for ever. Covering the smell will only bring it back. Your nose will get used to it, but your visitors will smell it, if you take short cuts

wash any covers and curtains and use fabric conditioner to make them smell good, also wash any surfaces and windows with flash , this will put a really clean smell all over. If you cant be bothered with all the cleaning then PAINT something as paint smell overrides anything and open windows.

mince a whole garlic clove and submerse it in olive oil, set it on the stove at about setting 3 or 4 till the garlic turns brown. You will have the original smell disguised and a great spread for your toast.

Put portable fans in the windows and face them blowing out. It will draw the smell out out through the window.

The smell gets trapped in fabric, like curtains, tablecloths, bedding, towels etc.
You will need to wash all those items as well as cleaning all the other surfaces of course.

You have to give the kitchen a really good deep clean. Sorry but its the only way, it will just linger there.
