It depends on what your definition of far is. I'd say it's about 1 hr to 1 1/2 hrs depending on traffic.
Go to the Natick Mall for shopping-it's closer and just as nice.
You can find all of the restaurants near SSP in Framingham, except for Rock Bottom, and you can find it on Stuart Street in Boston. On the green line, get off at Boylston or NEMC on the orange line.

EDIT: in case you write an open letter to shopkeepers in the mall, tell them which you will no longer patronize ANY shop there (and you will tell others to do a similar) until they talk up with mall administration and attempt to get Petland ousted from the complicated. clarify to them what variety of puppies Petland sells and the place they arrive from, and how morally reprehensible that's. If the shopkeepers make their comments conventional and say they like the region long previous, then and in uncomplicated terms then will you do business enterprise with them.

yes..its really far if u just want to go to a mall, but if u really want to go its about an hour and change
