Sodomy is a illegal form of sexual intercourse with any man or woman which is punishable offence under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code with an imprisonment of 10 years & fine. Thank you very much.

Some define sodomy as any sexual act, which is not between a man and a woman, and is not genital to genital.
The quickest way to answer your question if to deal with the health issues of anal sex, and not oral sex(which by definition is sodomy even if between a woman and man). The anus if full of feces (sh*t), so one needs to cover their tool to prevent even the slightest infection. The anus has a group of sphincter muscles they help keep the (sh*t) in the bowel. It can be torn if not stretched before tool insertion. Regular or over stretching of the sphincters can result in the muscle losing the ability to contract back to its original shape creating Bowel Incontinence (you crap on yourself without warning).
Note: If you have not been in an exclusive relationship with someone more than a year, it is unhealthy to not practice safe sex.

Sodomy (n.): anal or oral copulation with a member of the opposite sex.
It is extremely common. It is not unhealthy if standard measure are taken to prevent STDs.
