Am I the only one, or doesn't it bother anyone else that the AL Gore movie and ALL the Michael Moore movies offer a biased point of view without an opposing viewpoint. When the Nazis did it they called in "propaganda." Even if they are right, I want BOTH sides of the story. Don't you?

The movie industry is biased towards whatever sells tickets. Al Gore and Roger Moore have pulled off a difficult feat - making movies that are both polemical and entertaining. Various movies have been made that present opposing viewpoints, but none of them have captured the attention that Gore and Moore have commanded. They show in a few theaters and vanish. There does seem to be something a little odd when "the marketplace of ideas" becomes a box office. Maybe someone should make a documentary about it.

Funny how no one ever complains that both sides aren't shown when it's Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh or FOX News being discussed.

The fact is that Michael Moore makes movies that are based on his point of view. He has an opinion and he spends his money to express it. If others don't like it, they should make their own movie. Why has it become so offensive that someone should dare to offer a viewpoint?

As for Al Gore, that movie was just fact. It's not about left vs. right or liberal vs. conservative. It's scientifically proven data he's talking about.

I don't think so....I think its a great documentary and it depicts TRUTH. Rather than learning from these documentaries, some people, like the author itself, think to prove it wrong. This is not the right way. As everyone is aware of the changing temperature of the earths atmosphere, they should provide a helping hand to preserve it neither to oppose it. By opposing/ignoring the facts are you people trying to create even worse situations for our future generations? If everyone does what the documentary says you can see visible changes to environment.

I agree with you. Both points of view should be shown. I did see something about the other side of the global warming debate on I believe CNN not to long ago.
