Are you planning to minor in physics and major in something else, then apply to a physical therapy program? You do need a bachelor's degree, and to complete all pre-requisites (may vary with schools) and take the GRE (for some schools) to apply to an entry-level physical therapy program. Almost all of the entry-level physical therapy programs are doctorate degree programs leading to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.

It is impossible for you to major in physical therapy at the undergraduate level. Also, you can major in whatever you like as long as you meet the application requirements of the respective physical therapy programs.

In the long run, it really doesn't matter in what major your undergraduate degree is. What matters most is that you've completed the prerequisite requirements for admission to the PT program to which you wish to apply. Can can minor or major in physics and then apply to any PT school where you have completed the pre-reqs.

However, most people try to choose a major that will encompass their prerequisite courses. In fact, some schools offer a "pre-physical therapy" or "health sciences" degree. It's somewhat like pre-med, the undergraduate degree is somewhat meaningless unless you actually complete the PT program.

...and as an aside to the first post...physics has a great deal to do with physical therapy. We are under the obligation to understand, torques, forces, leverage, electrical fields, etc. Physics is a regular requirement for admission to a PT program.

You might wish to go to the APTA website at: www.apta.org and go to the education section to get a list of accredited PT schools. For there, you will get a link to the school where you can check out the requirements of that particular program.

What does a degree in physics have to do with physical therapy?

Ther eis no reason why you can'g get a BS in one school and then go to another school and get another BS. People do it all the time. However, I wonder why anyone gets an additional Bachelor's degree when it is just as easy to get a master's.
