Yes I do, especially if Ive answered a question that is personal and close to my heart like when I talk to people asking about problems with alcoholism. I feel that by sharing my experience Im generating some good thats come out of some very dark times, Im sharing it in a positive way and making it work for others. Im not one of those people who feel a need to make sense of what theyve been through, I know what Ive been through, I know why and I know how I got out of it all. And if I can share a bit of that and it gives someone an understanding or an insight when before they had nothing but confusion, I feel Ive shared some of the light at the end of the tunnel and that to me is a good positive way of taking what was otherwise seven wasted years, its a bit of practical recycling that is being used in a good way. I think if everyone did that the world would be a more informed place. Some people I think dont like to dredge up the past, with me Im at peace with it so Im happy to share if my knowledge can be of constructive use. :)

Yes it does. especially when you give someone advice on a personal problem. I am on the outside and will have a different view than they do. So, it's nice to help someone out like that.

Yeah it feels good in many ways.. To me it gives me a chance to show off my knowledge.. To others it makes them feel good that they helped out someone but in the end were all satisfied and we all feel good (at least I do..)
