Why do a lot of people blame things on the Democrats? Especially Nancy Pelosi? Are they illiterate?

Serious answers only, please. I am honestly looking for the best answer.

I put in "are they illiterate" because i base my opinions on reports and factual articles. A lot of that is reading.

No my dear, they are the lemmings from the dumbed down masses who believe everything that is regurgitated by Faux News, Newsmax, the drug addled gas bag Rush Limpbaugh and the rest of his ilk. There are articles with regards to whom had actually been in charge for 12 years but everything is the Dems fault. There is the selective amnesia that kicks in and they forget that from 1995-2006, the Congress and all its legislative agendas that were enacted happened under the auspices of the Republican Party.
For example, they with strident voice blame the Dems for the vetoing of the Emergency Spending Bill- claiming it was laden with pork and that the timelines should not be a part of it.
They have coveniently forgotten the following:-
a) When the Republican led Congress was in charge, they passed "emergency" spending bills for Iraq and Afghanistan were so "pork laden" it was disgusting but the President never came across a spending bill he did not like until now when he needs to explain to "we the people" who, what, where, when and why.
b) When his predecessor was in office, there were comments with regards to accoutability and exit strategy from the Republican Party faithful such as Tom Delay, Trent Lott etc. Then Gov. Bush spoke about having an exit strategy

"Texas Governor George W. Bush told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer on June 5, 1999: "I think it's also important for the president to lay out a timetable as to how long (U.S. troops) will be involved and when they will be withdrawn."

Darn that selective amnesia again.

the thing is this, these " emegency" spending bills are a joke. How can we be at war and they have no idea what kind of budget they need to have in place to continue running this thing? I found out why. "Emergency" spending is NOT included in our National Debt, which is currently at $8,809,496,506,714.96

Because all parties blame others parties for things that go wrong. (not just, democrats) See all parties have different agendas and they see how to see it get done no matter what. Take the War bill for example; why would the democrats include funding for extra items that were not Iraq war related in their bill that was vetoed by Bush? I mean would you blame people for being so selfish. If they wanted to get the bill to go through why didn't they leave out all the EXTRA stuff; then there would not be a logical excuse to throw it out. I mean that was an excuse given by Bush to veto ...cause there was too much extra stuff. The point iseveryone has something to be blameful for and the politcs that goes into all these matters is what is making people sick of all parties and the finger pointing begins. Need to ALL get the act together.

The Democrats mostly believe in Government Funding which means that the Government is in control of your life. Nancy Pelosi is on a power trip right now. She wants to prove a woman can be in power. She came out fighting and yet she is a career politician like most Dem's and Republicans. Are they really there for us or them. Perhaps if they shared the same benefits we the American People had to share they may be a little ore conscious of their efforts and do what the people want. Most Democrats have forgotten what this country was founded on MORAL, CHRISTIAN VALUES. America was once a country that believed in the moral fiber of Christian values. This is no longer, most of your Democrats have shoved POLITICAL INCORRECTNESS down our throats we feel bad to have an opinion. Nancy Pelosi is a joke. She has no business being in the position that she is in. I am by far not illiterate!!!

I think the answer, though, is simple partizan politics. Republicans want to place blame on Democrats, now Pelosi has some power, she's a good target in the blame game.

It's exactly like the Democrats trying to blame Bush for everything.

Do you know the meaning of Majority Leader? Even those in her party are miffed at her leadership skills. They are none existent.

Both Republicans and Democrats are fools blaming each other for everything. Democrats are creating lynch mobs attacking the Right wing while stopping their Congressional or House work while Republicans are weak and just fight back with empty threats.
