1) Sheer lipstick or lip gloss.
2) Fragrance free & no funky aftertaste. Smooth application and texture.
3) Top priorities = no funky taste/no chemical scent. Then color & texture.
4) New thing? Not much except - more lipsticks w/ SPF.

What kind of lipstick do you wear? Max Factor Lipfinity most days. I will use any type of long-wearing lipstick though.
What are you looking for in a lipstick (characteristics)? Long-wearing is the only one I look for. I hate having to reapply lipstick over and over.
What are your priorities (i.e. price, feel, brand, etc.)? Price, longevity, and then feel. I can get used to the feel of anything and most of the best long-wearing lipsticks don't feel very good, but I've learned to live with it.
What new thing do you think lipsticks should have that they don't? I would love to find a lipstick that looks like a very shiny, plasticky gloss and STAYS glossy for a long time - like a long-wearing lipgloss with color. If anyone knows of a good one, let me know!

1. I usually wear nice pinks or mauves, I choose from all kinds of brands.
2. Usually I look for something with a nice shine or something that sets it apart from other ones. I hate the ones that dry quickly on your lips to the point where you need chapstick, and I hate having to reapply it 5 times an hour.
3. Like I said, I like nice quality at a nice price. I totally hate paying too much for lipstick that isn't gonna last me too long.
4. I think lipstick is just fine the way it is :)

1) MAC Slimshine Lipstick (Color: Bare)
2) Texture/feel (shouldn't be goopy or slimy- ugh!), Color, Moisture (lipstick shouldn't be drying), Semi-matte (right in between), SPF protection.
3) My first priority would be whether the lipstick is in any way harmful to my skin- would it be overly drying, would it feather/bleed, would it cling to my lips and not come off easily, would it come off too easily, etc. Secondly, I would look at the color- flushed pink vs. fake orange...the decision is pretty clear there, don't you think? Thirdly, I would look at the price- I am not about to pay $50 for a lipstick I can get in $15 with the same qualities. Fourthly, I would look at the brand- MAC vs. NYC? Hmm...
4) I don't wear lipsticks much, but MAC has me addicted. I don't think I would change anything (about MAC lipsticks...others? I would change them into MAC lipsticks! Then buy those for less price).
Hope this helps :)

1. Revlon, Maybelline, Avon, Covergirl and Fashion Fair
2. Great colors, moisturizing and long-wearing capability
3. Color comes first. I wont spend over 10 bucks for lipstick if I have to. I really love Revlons lipsticks, they feel great and arent too pricey.
4. Either fragrance free or a really nice smell. One lipstick brand I tried smelled like Perfume. It was very strong. I didnt like that smell.

1. I wear all different kinds of lipstick (I am a lipstick/ lipgloss freak), but my favorite brand is M.A.C.
2. I like my lipstick to be creamy. I don't like it to make my lips dry and flaky.
3. Color, texture, price.
4. Well, I wanted my lipstick to be more glossy, but M.A.C. just came out with a new lipstick line called "Slimshine", and it's the perfect combination of color+gloss. So, my wish came true!

1) I wear lipgloss because lipstick makes your lips look unnatural.
2) Something natural because it makes you look like a model wannabe with pink pasted on your lips.
3) I don't care about the brand as long as it isn't something cheap like N.Y.C.
4) Scented because I just CANNOT stand the smell of lipsticks.

I'm more into tinted lip balms and glosses than lipstick.
What I look for is smooth application, nothing that's going to pull on my skin when I apply it.
I don't mind so much paying a higher price if it's a good product. Sheerness and shine are very important to me.
I'd love it if I could find a lip product that really plumps up my lips rather than just saying it does without much results.
